Train Anywhere
Virtual Personal Training. The Alan Sott Way.
A virtual personal trainer should do more than send you a workout and hope for the best. You deserve a coach who knows your numbers, pays attention to your progress, challenges you when you need it, and helps you figure out what comes next.
That's exactly how I coach my virtual clients.
The only difference between my in-person and virtual training is that I'm not physically standing next to you. The coaching, attention, accountability, and personalized programming? You get all of it.
What You Get
Personalized Training
Your workouts aren't pulled from a generic program. They're built around your goals, abilities, experience, and performance. I know what you did last week, what you're capable of, and what we're working toward next. Every workout has a purpose.
Nutrition & Macro Guidance
You don't need another crash diet. I'll help you understand what you're eating, how much you need, and how nutrition fits into your goals. We'll make adjustments as needed, based on your progress and what works for your life.
Real Accountability
Let's be honest. Knowing what to do and actually doing it consistently are two different things.
I'll recognize when you're putting in the work, and I'll call it out when you're not. If your performance falls short of where we expected it to be, we're going to talk about it. Not to make excuses or point fingers, but to understand what happened and figure out what to do next.
You'll get encouragement when you earn it, a push when you need it, and a coach who pays attention.
Progress Tracking
I don't walk into a training session guessing what you can do. I look at your previous performance, assess where you are, and determine what we're aiming for next.
We'll track the numbers that matter, so your training is based on what you're actually doing, not what a generic program says you should be doing.
Ongoing Adjustments
Your previous workout tells us where you've been. Your next workout builds on it.
During our sessions, we'll review your performance, discuss anything that affected it, and adjust our expectations when necessary. You'll know your goal for each set the following week, so you have a clear target to work toward.
That's how we make progress: one workout, one adjustment, and one week at a time.
60-Minute One-on-One Video Coaching
This is what separates my approach to virtual personal training from simply buying an online workout plan.
We meet for a dedicated 60-minute video session and go through your training together. We review your performance, work through each exercise and set, discuss your numbers, and establish your goals for the following week.
I'm paying attention. I'm asking questions. I'm challenging you when necessary and recognizing your progress when you earn it.
You're not training alone with a program I sent you. You're training with a coach who's right there with you... just through a screen.
Your Virtual Personal Trainer Should Know Your Numbers
Anyone can send you a workout. Apps can count reps. Programs can tell you what exercise comes next.
But a program can't look at your performance, ask what happened, listen to your answer, and make a thoughtful adjustment based on what you need.
That's my job.
If you're looking for a virtual personal trainer who will pay attention to the details, hold you accountable, and help you make progress instead of leaving you to figure it all out yourself, let's talk.
This Isn't About 12 Weeks
I'm not interested in getting you results for a few months and sending you on your way.
I don't coach for 12 weeks. I coach for the next 30 years of your life.
The goal is to build the strength, knowledge, habits, and confidence that help you take care of yourself for the long haul.
Looking good isn't the goal. Looking good is a byproduct of being healthy.
